By using corporateadvisory.bd you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may change them, and the version on this page is the one that applies.

This site is published by CAPE Advisory & Consulting Ltd., a regulatory, fiscal, trade and commercial advisory firm with offices in Dhaka and Chattogram. Our contact details are at the end of this page.

03This site is information, not advice

Everything published here is general information about our work and about regulation in Bangladesh. It is not advice on your situation, and reading it does not make you a client. Advice is given under an engagement letter, on facts we have examined.

Our advisory work is based on applicable laws, regulations, documented facts and professional analysis. We do not guarantee regulatory outcomes, and all engagements remain subject to the decisions and jurisdiction of the relevant authorities.

04Accuracy and currency

Regulation here moves quickly. An SRO, a budget measure, a tariff schedule or a procedure can change after something is published on this site, which is why our articles and updates carry a date.

We take care with what we publish, but we do not warrant that the site is complete, current or free from error, and you should not act on it without advice that takes your own facts into account.

05Our content and how you may use it

The text, images, illustrations and layout of this site belong to us or to the people who made them for us. You may read the site, print pages for your own use, and quote briefly from it with attribution to CAPE Advisory & Consulting Ltd. and a link to the page.

You may not republish substantial parts of it, sell it, present it as your own, or copy it systematically — including to build, populate or train another product or service — without our written consent.

06Publications

Our books, budget reviews and reports remain the property of their authors and publishers. Where a publication is sold through a retailer, that purchase is subject to the retailer’s own terms, not these.

07Names, marks and logos

The CAPE Advisory & Consulting Ltd. name and mark are ours. Other names, marks and logos on this site — including those in the footer — belong to their owners and are used to identify them, not to claim any right in them.

08Links and embedded content

We link to other websites and embed video and maps from other providers because they are useful. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what they contain, and a link is not an endorsement.

09Sending us information

We treat enquiries as confidential as a matter of professional practice. Even so, please do not send sensitive documents or privileged material through the enquiry form or by ordinary email.

Sending an enquiry does not create an engagement. No duty to act arises until we have accepted an engagement in writing, and we may decline one — for example where a conflict cannot be managed.

10Positions listed on this site

A position on our Careers page is open only while it is shown there. Applying does not create an offer, a contract or an employment relationship, and we may change or withdraw a position at any time.

11Availability

We aim to keep the site available, but it may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it.

12Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of this site, from reliance on anything published on it, or from its being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site, are governed by the laws of Bangladesh and subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
